(More customer reviews)I bought this trailer to use with my electric bike.It can easily carry a couple of large rubbermaid storage tubs for carrying groceries or other purchases, so this combo is now my eco-friendly alternative to driving around town for short trips.Not having front or rear walls I initially thought was a drawback, but now find it very useful for carrying longer items (like my inflatable kayak)!

The trailer is very lightweight, yet strong.The Burley trailer hitch system is very well designed and easy to use.While the trailer can be disassembled, I find that some of the lock pins are a bit tight and really not worth the bother. Fortunately, the wheels are very fast/easy to remove, so that makes the trailer "flat enough" for my storage needs.

The floor of the trailer is the same "plastic-coated canvas-like" material as the side walls.While this keeps the weight down, you'll want to add a firmer floor if hauling anything with unusual edges that might dimple the stock floor.

Overall, very pleased with this trailer!

(More customer reviews)This is a solid buy for any person who hauls a lot of stuff but doesn't want to crowd the trunk area.I have an 05 chevy trailblazer and I take it out on the beach a lot, obviously my 120 QT. Cooler is a pain in the behind to load into the trunk, let alone limited space etc.This fits it perfectly, the angled shank give it a pretty high clearance, I haven't taken it out on the beach yet but I'm going out this entire weekend starting tomorrow, so I will update the review!Other than that, extremely simple assembly and solid design.

I even called Overton, before purchase, and they were very nice and congenial, but even they couldn't be exactly sure of the identity of the item. Ultimately they stated that they figured that it was like the one pictured...NOT. Price was right, delivered proptly...so I just took it and made it work, even though it was not the item I thought I ordered, and talked to Marty at "Overton" about. He was very nice, but not it.Thanks anyway, Allan

(More customer reviews)I've had this Elite for two days so far. Very easy to assemble there's even a youtube video of the assembly for the Version 1 which is not that different with the Elite. The difference is the brake location which I find it much easier to use since you don't have to remove the handle when changing from stroller to trailer. The brakes are more for emergency use or parking brake since it does eat up both the main wheels threads.
Max weight on this is 100lbs. I've used it with my 6 and 2 years old kids (+70lbs total). It's still roomy for them and there's two small pouch on each side they can fit a small toy. The center of balance is more to the back which can leave to a possibility of tipping but the handle does stop any possible injuries (of course that can only happen if you don't pay attention or don't have the brake on). The plus side, it's easier to tip back when aligning or turning during walking/jogging/running activities.
Taking it down for transport seems easy enough from the looks of it. There's be probably seven easy to take out pieces to breakdown, five if you reattach the wheel guards. Fits well in my large vehicle.
Storage wise, there's more than enough room in the back to keep the front wheel and 2(up to 4, maybe) gallons of water in the back compartment. I'll keep in touch as for the durabilty and longevity of this items. Overall I'm happy and satisfied with this items. PLUS I SAVED A TON OF CASH!

(More customer reviews)This trailer crashes really well!My daughter and I were recently in a bike accident where someone opened their car door as we were riding by and their door met with the trailer wheel.My bike kept going and the trailer stayed with the car.The wheel of the trailer was completely bent, the spring mechanism that connects the trailer to the bike was uncoiled, and both the hook up and the safety hook up were ripped from the hitch, but my daughter remained safe and contained within the cab!I came away with multiple injuries and she didn't have a scratch on her!

I completely recommend this trailer.
